PRODUCT DETAILS : ETP TUBE SETTLER METHOD DESCRIPTION : BAR SCREEN First of all the effluent passes through the Bar Screen where coarse particles like paper, plastic etc are removed. Bar Screen is installed in a Bar Screen Chamber. After passing through the Bar Screen the Waste Water enters the Equalisation tank. The purpose of the Equalisation tank is to maintain an uniform flow to the Bioreactor tank. So at an uniform rate the effluent is then discharged to the Bioreactor tank. BIOREACTOR TANK Bioreactor is that part of the system where Micro Organisms act as the catalyst to oxidise the organic waste and convert it into gases such as Carbon Dioxide and Water. Degradation i.e Bioremediation of Wastewater is Earth’s natural process of converting organic matter into water, carbon dioxide and methane gas with the help of intrinsic bacteria and fungi. However certain factors may not be conducive to their growth or oxidation of compounds. Variations in temperature, pH and oxygen levels can adversely affect growth of microbes. We, therefore, provide specially adapted and strengthened bacteria for proper development of Biomass and degradation of waste water . Biorganic is formulated to handle diverse type of effluents, so that the treatment plant works efficiently without any upsets. Biorganic cultures are specifically formulated to resolve problems in wastewater effluents. They contain a variety of Thermophilic, Mesophilic and Psychrophilic bacteria, which are they have wide a range of ambient temperature operation capability (from high to low). These bacteria have been pre attached to the Plastic Media for immediate function and there is no need to bring in activated sludge from elsewhere, which in any case is not so effective. Aeration for addition of oxygen to the wastewater is also carried out here. This is achieved with the help of ‘Stormix’Aerator installed in the Bioreactor tank. The effluent from the Bioreactor tank is taken to a Flash Mixer cum Flocculator where it is properly mixed with the Coagulants (like Ferrous Sulphate, Lime and Poly Electrolyte) so that proper settlement can be achieved. The coagulants are prepared in the Dosing tanks. The Effluent then moves into Tube Settler for settlement of solids. This removes most of the remaining suspended solids. The tube settler will consist of PVC Tube Media. The PVC Media are not PVC Pipes but slotted PVC Media Tube Plates. These gives more surface area than pipes which results in greater settlement of Suspended Solids. Also use of pipe would need greater size of Settler to give the same SLRValue. The Suspended Solids settle at the bottom of the tube settler and clear water from the top of the settler moves into the Filters for final tertiary treatment. FILTERS The wastewater from the settler moves into the Dual Media Filter for final tertiary treatment. The wastewater under pressure passes through the filter, to remove, remaining solids, odour or colour. The treated water from the filters is then discharged. Reuse: The treated water can be reused for number of purposes like washing , horticulture. Treatment of Settled Solids The Settled solids from the Settler is removed to a Slurry Holding tank from where it is dewatered by the Filter Press, which separates solids from liquid and produces a dry cake and clear filtrate using a combination of feed pressure and special filter plates and cloths. The cakes formed can be used as a fertilizer. The excess, supernatant liquid from the Slurry Holding tank is discharged back into the Equalisation tank for retreatment. |
